It will help you to identify and measure the problems in response time, levels of locking and deadlocking in the application. Load runner is widely uses for this testing which will help to create the virtual environment and will look like that multiple users are using the same application at same time.
Concurrency testing is also called multi user testing. It will define how your system will behave for concurrent users. There are many methods to perform concurrent testing and to implement over application. Sometimes programmers need to handle concurrency control.
